Retail Store Manager

If you have a passion for the liquor retail industry and want to be an integral part of business, we want to hear from you. We will guarantee a minimum of 32 working hours per week and offer a competitive hourly rate of $24 to $24.50 for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for the following duties:

- Manage the licensed premises for smooth operation on daily basis

- Plan, formulate and implement operational budgets and business strategies

- Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profit

- Determine and choose different marketing tools to increase sales

- Purchase stock on basis of sale, per stock level and market popularity

- Periodically organize and participate in stock takes.

- Ensure that check in and check out reports of stocks are accurately receipted/invoiced

- Organize, plan and execute special promotions and remain completive pricing by adjusting profit margin in accordance to stock levels

- Manage staff, delegate duties to them and routinely evaluate their performances.

- Organize proper training for junior or new staff member and provide supervision and guidance where required.

- Ensure continuous compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and Alcohol License Authority

You will have an outgoing and friendly personality and believe that service and relationship building with customers is key. We expect you to have strong communication ability to positively influence and engage with your team and customers; Existing knowledge of liquor products is an advantage and holding a Manager Certificate is essential. Flexibility to work on the weekends is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00 – $24.50 per hour

Education:

Diploma level 5 in Business or Management or Related field
