Our civil client in Hastings and Napier are currently seeking experienced Class 4 Licensed Driver and WTR Operator to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 4-wheel truck rollers to compact soil, asphalt, gravel, or other materials on construction sites.

  • Perform regular pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the roller equipment

  • Conduct routine maintenance

  • Work closely with other site workers, including excavator operators, truck drivers, and supervisors, to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of tasks.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 4 New Zealand Driver’s License.

  • WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsement is required.

  • Eligible to work in New Zealand.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and conviction check.

Job Details:

  • Pay rates - $28 - $35 an hour depending on experience and licenses.

  • Monday to Friday schedule, occasional Saturdays

  • Potential for a temporary-to-permanent position.
