Epic Design Works, a premier boutique studio based in Auckland, is seeking a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to play a key role in delivering exceptional architectural and interior designs. We create unique, livable spaces that marry stunning aesthetics with functional practicality, and we're looking for a motivated professional to help bring our vision to life on-site.
As a Construction Site Supervisor, you’ll be a crucial part of the team, overseeing and managing the construction process. You’ll ensure every project runs smoothly by coordinating material and human resources, all while maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship and compliance that Epic Design Works is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and oversee the construction activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.
Organize and coordinate the material and human resources required for each project, ensuring everything is in place for smooth site operations.
Ensure all work adheres to building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Conduct inspections of materials and workmanship to confirm compliance with design and specifications.
Assist in monitoring project timelines and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met and costs are controlled.
Collaborate with Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
Must hold at least three years of relevant work experience OR minimum Level 4 qualification
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and quality standards.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and resources.
Excellent communication skills to ensure clear, consistent reporting and team collaboration.
A proactive problem-solver with a focus on safety, quality, and project efficiency.
