Role Purpose: Establish and maintain best practice and fit-for-purpose data governance frameworks, policies, and standards covering data quality, data classification and handling, data privacy and protection, data retention and disposal, master and reference data management, metadata management, data access and security, and third-party data. Help clients ensure data is accurate and usable for reporting, analysis, modelling, and AI applications to support strategic outcomes, drive insights and decision making. Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth and innovation. Implement and manage data platforms across on-premises and cloud environments to ensure efficient data infrastructure, security, compliance, and observability.

Core Responsibility:
• Meets or exceeds agreed chargeability, business development, professional development and recruitment; and market facing metrics
• Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and influences decision makers
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing business solutions to drive client transformations across industry, function and technology
• Implementation of programs and interventions to drive organizational change
• Works to ensure opportunities are created for Data & AI led business reinvention with clients
• Defines and structures an organization’s Data and AI strategy to build and optimize data assets, AI technologies for growth and competitive advantages by assessing the maturity of an organization’s data and AI foundation
• Defines building blocks required to convert to an AI-first organization, including technology and AI platform blueprint, data strategy and future-ready operating model
• Creates the business case, investment profile and roadmap to deliver on client’s strategy
• Infuses Responsible AI in vision and roadmap, develops plan for leveraging ecosystem partners, and defines operating model to foster a culture of innovation and experimentation • Identifies people, processes and technologies to develop and operationalize AI solutions
• Creates strategy for AI-first products and develops commercialization opportunities
• Shares knowledge with others through project teams and People Lead roles
• Refines practice capabilities through career counselling and guidance as a People Lead
• Contributes to thought leadership within the Practice
• Refines the identification and management of sales opportunities
• Actively seeks to increase the commercial footprint of the Practice through delivery of quality product and advice
• Identifies areas for improvement across the Practice including industry best practice frameworks and methodologies
• Shares experiences across the practice, providing insight into engagements
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 8 years of Consulting experience operating at a senior, strategic level working alongside key, senior stakeholders
• Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge in an area of expertise based on experience, and act in an advisory role in meetings Breadth of Knowledge:
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: NZD $210,000- NZD $230,000
