We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications

  • Planning menus and estimating food requirements

  • Monitoring food quality at all stages of preparation and presentation

  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are strictly maintained

  • Managing stock control and ordering supplies

  • Supervising and training kitchen staff where required

  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Cookery
  • OR At least 2 years of relevant work experience 
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.

This is a genuine, full-time position offering ongoing employment. The pay rate meets New Zealand market standards and will be discussed with suitable candidates based on experience.

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (guaranteed)
Pay Rate:$25 to $35 Per hour
