Fj Trucking Limited is looking for a Plant Operator to join our team.

  • Title: Plant Operator
  • Guaranteed hours: 30 per week
  • Houly Rate: $32 - $35
  • Location: Auckland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate excavators, diggers, and similar earthmoving machinery to complete tasks such as trenching, digging, grading, backfilling, and site preparation.
  • Read and interpret site plans, instructions, and levels to ensure accurate and safe excavation work.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks and minor servicing to ensure the machinery is safe and functional.
  • Load and unload machinery safely on trailers or transport trucks when needed.
  • Occasionally drive a heavy vehicle to transport excavators and equipment to and from worksites.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors, other operators, and ground staff to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Identify and report hazards, defects, or machinery issues promptly.

Key Requirements:

  • 3years experience
  • New Zealand Class 4 License
  • WTR Endorsemnt or willing to obtain.
