ARTICTEC DESIGN LTD is an architectural design practice based in Auckland, specialize in designing luxury homes, apartments, and development projects. We produce concept designs and comprehensive documentation packages, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to support consenting and construction delivery.
Role Summary
We are seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to prepare accurate architectural drawings and documentation for residential and commercial projects. You will work alongside our architects/designers to translate design intent into clear, buildable technical documentation, and support coordination with clients, consultants, and councils.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules using CAD/BIM software.

Develop and maintain concept design, developed design, and consent documentation sets.

Update drawings to reflect design changes, consultant inputs, and site conditions.

Assist with 3D modelling and presentation drawings/visualisations as required.

Liaise with architects, engineers, planners, contractors, and local authorities to support design coordination and compliance.

Prepare and coordinate documents required for building consent and construction documentation.

Conduct site visits and measurements as needed to verify design accuracy.

Maintain organised project records, drawing registers, and document control.
Requirements (Essential)

Qualification: Diploma or higher in Architectural Drafting / Architectural Technology / Architecture / related field; or

Experience: Minimum 1 years in architectural drafting / documentation (NZ experience preferred).

Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD,ArchiCAD (and/or Revit). Experience with SketchUp and/or other 3D tools is an advantage.

Good understanding of NZ building documentation standards, construction detailing, and coordination workflows.
Preferred Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Clear communication and ability to work collaboratively in a design practice environment.

Knowledge of Auckland Council / NZ Building Code documentation expectations is beneficial.

Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a bonus but not required.
