Road Labourers – Hastings & Napier

We are currently seeking experienced Road Labourers for ongoing work across the Hastings and Napier areas. If you have a strong work ethic and hands-on experience in roading and civil construction, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• General roading and civil labouring duties
• Asphalt work and site preparation
• Digger operating (where applicable)
• Clearing and preparing construction sites
• Assisting with traffic management set-up
• Locating underground services
• Supporting road construction and maintenance projects
• Maintaining high safety standards on site

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in roading and civil construction
• Asphalt experience preferred
• Digger operating experience advantageous
• Knowledge of locating underground services
• Experience setting up sites for traffic management
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices
• Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in a team
• Must be able to pass a drug test and conviction check
• Eligible to work in New Zealand

Job Details:

• Based in Hastings and Napier
• Monday to Friday work or casual on-call options available
• 6:00–7:00am starts, finishing around 5:00pm
• $24–$26 per hour (depending on experience)
