About the role

Join the team at McGregor Farm Services 2018 Limited as a full-time Milking Machine Tester. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and servicing milking machines for dairy farms in the Morrinsville, Waikato region. With a focus on delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service, this position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of dairy farm equipment.

What you'll be doing

1. Thoroughly inspect and test milking machines to identify any issues or areas requiring maintenance

2. Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs on milking machines to keep them in optimal working condition

3. Provide expert advice and recommendations to dairy farmers on the proper operation and maintenance of their milking equipment

4. Maintain detailed records of all testing, servicing and repair work performed

5. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and safety

6. Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation

What we're looking for

1. Relevant NZMPTA qualification

2. Proven experience in the testing, servicing and maintenance of milking machines and related dairy farm equipment

3. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues

4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with dairy farmers

5. A reliable, organised and safety-conscious approach to work

6. A clean driving record and ability to travel to various dairy farm locations
