Beauty Therapist

Job Responsibility:

• Performing consultation and suggestion on treatment and product options based on customer's needs.
• Performing Manicure and Spa Pedicure on nature nails (buff, shape, tidy up nails and cuticles, hands and feet massage, remove/apply normal/gel nail polish)
• Applying Nail Extension (Acrylic, Dipping Powder, Gel X, Builder Gel,...)
• Experience in using American nail drilling machine
• Nail Art and Design experience
• Performing facial treatment (deep cleaning, exfoliating, extraction, hydration,...)
• Performing head spa service (shampooing, conditioning, blow drying,...)
• Performing body massage (with oils, hot stone, cupping therapy...)
• Maintain sanitary work environment, follow all health and safety regulations
• Sanitizing equipments and tools between each client
• Reconise nail and skin diseases and referring clients to health professional
• Record stock and fill up products
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager

Job Requrements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as nail technician or beauty therapist OR
• Any tertiary degree + relevant qualifications/ certificate OR
• NZQF level 4 and above qulifications OR
• Other NZQF level 4 and above qualifications in other subjects + at least 6 months working in relevant industry.
• Have ability to complete all tasks for a service in a given time frame with high quality outcome.
• Able to work under pressure and without supervision
• Fexible to work with a rotating roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays
• Candidate need to be New Zealand citizen or resident class visa holder.

Benefits:

• Payrate $29.66 - $35.00 per hour (gross) based on experience
• Permanent Full-time position with guarantee of minimum 30 hours per week, maximum of 45 hours per week
• Supportive work environment, on job training to fit with salon standards
