We specialise in property maintenance, renovations, and general repairs, supporting residential projects from day-to-day upkeep to improvement works. Due to strong project demand, we are expanding and seeking SIX experienced Carpenters to support residential builds, renovations, and fit-outs (with some light commercial work where required).
Job Description
As a Carpenter, you will construct, erect, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures using timber, plywood, plasterboard/wallboard and other building materials, ensuring quality workmanship, safe practices, and timely delivery.
Key duties include:
- Interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
- Measure and set out work, select materials, and calculate quantities.
- Cut, shape, assemble, join and fix timber and related materials.
- Complete carpentry tasks across new builds and renovations, including:
- framing and structural work (walls, floors, roofs, bracing)
- fixing work (doors, windows, hardware, trims, skirtings, architraves)
- fit-out and finishing work (as required by project scope)
- formwork tasks (where required)
- repairs, alterations, and remedial work
- Install fixtures and components with high attention to detail and finish.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to manage site workflow and interfaces.
- Maintain a clean, safe work site and follow all health and safety requirements.
- Identify issues early (measurements, materials, clashes, quality risks) and communicate solutions.
Requirements(About you):
- At least one year relevant work experience, or NZQCF relevant Level 4 qualification or above.
- Strong tool skills, safe work practices, and ability to work accurately from plans.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
- Any trade registration/licensing is an advantage where applicable, or strong practical experience demonstrating trade-level capability.
- NZ residency, citizenship, or a valid work visa
