Landscape Gardner

Kaler Mowing Ltd is currently looking for 2 Gardner on a full-time permanent position. The hourly wage rates from $28.00 to $38.00. The company is based in Auckland Region, but you may have to travel outside of Auckland for business purposes.

Job Duties you may need to perform are:

• Have a good work ethic
• Be a team player
• Flexible with work timing
• Have no criminal conviction and willing to do a drug test if required
• Be punctual, reliable, a can-do attitude and a willingness to get the job done.
• Preparing and maintaining seedbeds and growing sites for planting softscape areas including trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers and bulbs.
• Propagating, planting, transplanting and establishing trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and lawns.
• Preparing lawn areas by spreading topsoil, sowing grass seed, and laying instant turf.
• Maintaining planted and grassed areas through weeding, trimming, pruning, fertilising, watering and mowing.
• Pruning trees and hedges, and installing plant support and protection systems.
• Spraying and dusting plants and trees to control insects, pests and diseases in accordance with safety regulations.
• Interpreting landscaping plans and drawings to construct and maintain garden landscapes.
• Constructing and installing hardscape features such as gravel and paved walkways, retaining walls, fences, pergolas, ponds, barbecues and garden structures.
• Ensuring proper soil preparation, drainage and irrigation for healthy plant growth.
• Maintaining tools, equipment and machinery used in gardening and landscaping activities.

Qualification: Diploma level 4 or above or

Experience - 2 years relevant experience
