About the role

We are seeking three Junior Accountants to join our busy and growing team. You will become part of a young and enthusiastic team where you will have the opportunity to continue learning and developing your skills.

Location of Work: Hibiscus Coast, Auckland  

Type of employment: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week

Days required: Monday – Friday

Pay: $29 - $34 per hour, based on qualification and experience  

 

Responsibilities:

·    Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for companies, trusts, and individuals

·      Prepare tax returns in accordance with New Zealand tax legislation

·      Prepare and review GST returns, PAYE, and other statutory compliance filings

·      To prepare forecasts and other business documentation as required for clients

·      To assist in the maintenance of the taxation of the databases

·      Liaise with clients regarding routine accounting and taxation matters

·      Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time

 

Key skills required:

·      Relevant bachelor’s degree or above

·      Relevant work experience is preferred

·      Proficiency with Xero, MYOB and Excel

·      Strong communication and time management skills
