Phoenix Recycling Group is seeking a dedicated outstanding Truck Driver to play a key role in moving goods in a rapidly growing business in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 4 truck 

  • Transport scrap metal and recyclable materials to and from customer sites

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Secure loads in compliance with NZTA requirements

  • Complete logbooks and transport documentation accurately

  • Comply with all health and safety procedures

  • Maintain communication with dispatch and yard staff

  • Assist with loading and unloading where required

Requirements

  • Valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant truck driving experience

  • Clean driving record

  • Knowledge of NZ road transport regulations

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

  • Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading where required

  • Strong work ethic and reliability

Desirable skills

  • Experience in scrap metal

The Truck Driver may be required to work across Canterbury,  Waikato, Auckland, Southland, Whangarei,Otago,Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Hawke's Bay

  • This role will be a permanent and full-time job.
  •  A minimum of 30 hours of work are guaranteed.
  •  Minimum & Maximum Pay rate: $30-$35 ph (depending on experience)
