TCB Ltd operates around Auckland in a range of capacities, including retail, wholesale, freight and logistics.  We are looking for a Distribution Centre Shift Supervisor, it is Full time role, 32-40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and coordinate activities of the Inwards/Outbound Teams, ensuring workload is evenly spread.
  • Communicate daily objectives and monitor team performance.
  • Coaching and training of new and current team members.
  • Carrying out daily safety checks
  • Devanning/loading containers
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • Picking, Packing and dispatching of orders
  • Data entry
  • RF scanning
  • Some Transport duties operating a Class 4 truck
  • Additional general warehouse duties as required including stocktaking and general housekeeping

 

Skills and experience:

  • Relevant experience in a high paced logistics environment preferred
  • Forklift license, must include counterbalance and reach truck
  • Class 4 truck license
  • Experience working with a Warehouse Management System
  • Experience in a paperless RF environment
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Have a strong safety focus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Physically fit
  • Reliable and enthusiastic

Please note, regular weekend work will be required

Attractive pay rate - $28 to $31 per hour

Suitable candidate must be NZ Citizen of resident or have legal rights to work in New Zealand.
