We are actively seeking a motivated and experienced Electric /Diesel Bus Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining High voltage components of electric and traditional diesel Buses. The Mechanic should possess strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex Electrica and mechanical issues.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an automotive mechanic (preferably heavy diesel)
  • Having a relevant qualification as an automotive mechanic is a surplus
  • Attention to details and willing to go above and beyond for highest quality services
  • Commitment to Health and Safety guidelines and policy of the Company and the industry
  • Strong sense of responsibility and full understanding of company value

Job Description:

  • Inspection and diagnosis of diesel engines
  • Repair and maintenance in both engine and chassis area
  • Work with clutch, transmission and other components
  • Part replacement of any kind when necessary
  • Documentation and all records for repairs, inspection and maintenance tasks
  • Safety compliance by adhering all safety standard and protocols
  • Able to collaborate and work as a team member

Successful candidates will be working in our Christchurch Workshop.

 

The role also requires working in other cities in NewZealand. You need to be a New Zealand/Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid working visa to apply for this role.
