Truck Body Repair Workshop Foreman – Penrose 

Join our clients busy truck body repair and fabrication workshop in Penrose as their new Workshop Foreman.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who knows trucks inside out, can manage a small team, and keeps the workshop running smoothly day‑to‑day.
About the Role You’ll be responsible for overseeing all workshop operations, including:
  • Managing and mentoring a team of fabricators and repair technicians
  • Scheduling and coordinating maintenance, accident repairs, and rebuilds
  • Allocating jobs and organising your own time as well as the team’s
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship and safe work practices
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise and keeping jobs on track
  • Liaising with management and customers on progress and priorities
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong background in truck body repair, fabrication, and welding
  • Current welding tickets (MIG/TIG/ARC)
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a workshop team
  • Ability to read drawings, plan jobs, and problem-solve on the fly
  • Solid understanding of scheduled maintenance and accident repair processes
  • Reliable, organised, and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment
Location Penrose, Auckland
Pay & Hours
  • $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • ASAP start
