We are a company providing interior painting and decorating services, currently looking for painters to join our team.

The tasks include the following:

Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering

Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper

Cover holes of joins and nails with paints

Smooth the wall, corners, and ceilings with brushes and sand paper

Select and prepare paints to required colours

Mix portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives

Apply paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays

Clean equipment and work areas

 

The desired candidate should:

Have relevant 2 years working experience

Knowledge of interior painting and a positive can-do attitude 

Good level of physical ability

Strong work ethic and good communication skills

Flexibility & ability to work extra hours when required

Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team

 

We offer $30 to $35 per hour for suitable candidate, depending on level of experience and interview. The job is 30 hours’ work per week. If you feel like a fit for this role, please apply via the website.
