Anyun Limited is looking for a Carpenter and Joiner to join us in Auckland. You will work 30-50 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $28.50-$33.50, subject to your skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cabinetry & Furniture Manufacture

  • Manufacture and assemble timber cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, and furniture components according to specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood-based materials using hand and power tools.
  • Construct custom cabinetry and fittings where required.

2. Installation of Joinery & Fixtures

  • Install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, shelving systems, and built-in furniture at client premises.
  • Ensure installations are level, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Fit hinges, handles, drawer systems, and other hardware components.

3. Dismantling & Reinstallation

  • Carefully dismantle built-in furniture and timber fixtures prior to relocation.
  • Label and protect components for transport.
  • Reassemble and reinstall items at destination sites.

4. Repair & Maintenance

  • Repair damaged furniture and timber fixtures during relocation projects.
  • Replace or reinforce structural components where required.
  • Adjust doors, drawers, and fittings to ensure proper operation.

5. Site Work & Safety

  • Interpret measurements, drawings, or installation instructions.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

 

Requirements

-      A minimum of one-year relevant work experience in New Zealand

-      Be able to work between 6am to 8 pm, Monday to Sunday

-      Pay attention to details and excellent time management

-      No criminal record

-      A drug test may be required as condition of the employment
