Position Overview
ABE LIMITED is an electrical contracting company based in Auckland, providing a broad range of electrical services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients across New Zealand. Our services include electrical installations, maintenance, automation solutions, and fire-related system installation and support.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to support the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies across our electrical and fire services businesses. This role focuses on market research, campaign coordination, brand development, and supporting business growth through effective marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to support company's sales and growth objectives

Research and analyse market demand, customer behaviour, and competitor activity within the electrical, construction, and fire services sectors

Identify market opportunities for existing and new services and provide recommendations to management

Analyse consumer patterns and preferences to support decisions on service positioning, pricing considerations, and promotional activities

Coordinate advertising and promotional campaigns, including digital content, branding materials, and service promotions

Prepare marketing materials, reports, presentations, and campaign performance summaries

Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to support marketing initiatives

Maintain and manage customer databases, market information, and marketing documentation

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and recommend improvements

Ensure marketing activities align with company objectives and comply with relevant regulations and policies
Requirement:
Applicants must meet one of the following:
-
A NZQF Level 4 Diploma (or higher) in Marketing, Business or a related field
OR at least 3-5 years’ relevant work experience
In addition, applicants must demonstrate:

Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills, with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team

A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Experience in the electrical, construction, fire safety, or other technical industries is an advantage, but not essential
