Wanted: Full Time Carpenter x 2

Excellent Handyman Services Ltd, based in Henderson, Auckland, provides property maintenance and support for minor construction work as well as handyman services.
Working locations can vary but will be within the greater Auckland region. This is a permanent full-time role. You must be available to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday with optional weekends, depending on the timeframe of each project.

Hours and Wages
Minimum 30 hours of work is guaranteed weekly and maximum of 50 hours per week.
Wage range is $28-$30 per hour depending on skill and efficiency

 

Key responsibilities

* Performing all assigned carpentry duties, including both rough and finish carpentry.

* Ensure compliance with all safety requirements.

* Secure all necessary materials and tools for meeting production objectives.

* Liaise with co-workers and supervisors to conform to building code and specifications.

* Communicating with clients to determine the time frames for completing projects.

* Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time

Job


Requisite Competencies:

* Hold relevant qualification OR three years work experience

* A positive attitude and good communication
* A clean slate record and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
* Physical fitness, hard working and with attention-to-detail
* Own set of tools and sound knowledge of safely using hand and power tools
* Demonstrate competency in carpentry (qualification would be an advantage)
* The right to work in New Zealand
* Reliable transport
