Reporting to the Planning Manager in this role you will manage production plans for selected Hynds production unit requirements. Maximise availability for customers with best usage of available resources, optimising plant efficiencies where possible through planning.

Responsibilities 

• Providing product availability estimates for Sales enquiries for standard and nonstandard products. Advise relevant parties when breach of these dates is likely to occur.
• Ensuring all production compliance issues are investigated and where necessary corrective action is implemented.
• Ensuring weekly (1-2 weeks firm) schedules by work centres for required manufactured items are completed weekly for relevant factories.
• Contribute at relevant communications meetings with manufacturing and sales and ensure assigned tasks are completed.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce inventory surpluses though alternate substitution.
