About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, warm, and people-focused Spa Manager to lead our Christchurch team. You will ensure smooth daily operations, support our therapists, and uphold the high service standards our clients love.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day spa operations to ensure a seamless customer experience

  • Lead, coach, and support therapists to maintain consistent service quality

  • Manage staff scheduling, bookings, and workflow coordination

  • Maintain a calm, professional, and hygienic workplace environment

  • Handle customer enquiries and provide effective service recovery when required

  • Monitor store performance, supplies, and operational needs

  • Work closely with the owner on promotions, service quality, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years’ relevant work experience in the same field or industry; or hold a relevant NZ Level 5 qualification, equivalent certificates, or a bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team

  • Well-organised, reliable, and confident in multitasking

  • Spa or massage industry experience is a strong advantage

  • Able to work weekends or evenings when needed
