SEETAL is seeking a Qualified Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing team.
SEETAL designs and builds custom spray booths throughout New Zealand and Australia. We complete all fabrication, wiring, gas fitting, and plumbing in-house and pride ourselves on quality workmanship and attention to detail.

About the Role
The main duty of the Sheet Metal Worker is to produce a finished product that meets the requirements specified in schematic drawings and is free of defects and flaws.
You will be involved in fabrication both in the workshop and on-site installations across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Selecting the appropriate sheet metals according to plans and specifications
- Accurately measuring and marking sheet metal to meet required tolerances
- Cutting sheet metal using appropriate tools and machinery
- Shaping, drilling, folding, and bending sheet metal to fabricate parts and components
- Welding, bolting, brazing, and soldering components to assemble finished products
- Installing fabricated metal components on construction sites
- Ensuring all finished work meets SEETAL’s high-quality standards
- Maintaining strong site safety awareness and compliance
What We Are Looking For
- Trade-qualified Sheet Metal Worker
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to identify and communicate potential on-site issues
- Sound understanding of health and safety requirements
- Willingness to travel throughout New Zealand
