About us: 

We are a growing construction company based in Auckland, delivering high-quality residential and light commercial projects. Due to increased workload and upcoming projects, we are seeking three experienced carpenters to join our team.

The role will include, but not limited to:

  • To study drawings and specifications to decide what materials to be used and relevant installation procedures

  • To cut materials with chainsaw, assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts with tools such as drills

  • To repair exiting wood planks with chainsaw and electric planner

  • To establish the framework of structures

  • To erect framework and roof framing, lay floorboard and check the trueness of structures

  • To nail fascia panels, sheathing roofs and ceiling batten, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames

  • To assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install

  • To cut wood joints with tools such as chainsaw

  • May construct concrete formwork

  • May work with plastic laminates, Perspex and metals

  • Other duties may be reasonably required by the business owner or director

Job pre-requisites: 

  • At least 2 years’ relevant working experiences with verified evidence（experiences gained in the same industry could be considered as meeting the experience requirements）

  • Relevant qualifications are preferable but not a must

  • Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

  • physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime 

  • excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.

  • The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

Other details:

Hourly rate: $28.00 - $31.00

Full time:  30 - 50 hours per week

Working place: Auckland Region
