We are looking for Asbestos Operation Technician. It is a full time position with minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. The role is with competitive remuneration of $30-$35.00 depending on experience. Long-term opportunities and career progression. Upskilling and ongoing training and development is available. You will be based in Waikato but will also be working at Bay of Plenty and Taranaki as required

Your Duties as the ideal Candidate

 

·        Removal of different types of Asbestos (Class A & B) with professional operation skills 

·        Working under supervision and direction from the Supervisor

·        Working to Health and Safety Regulations

·        Pre-employment Drug and Employment checks

·        Physically fit and able to lift 20kg

·        Great work ethic, self-awareness, learning agility and team orientation

·        Able to pass a criminal records check, allowing you to work on Government Department sites

·        Working at Heights

·        Carry out all projects in a safe, controlled and timely manner for our clients Liaising with the other Operatives, Supervisors & Senior Project Managers. 

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years relevant experience. 

·        Full and current driving license

·        Able to pass a criminal records check allowing you to work on Government Departments sites.

·        Must be physically fit

·        Dedication towards Health and Safety Compliance

·        Time management skills and attention to detail

·        Ability to follow instructions and assist the Site Supervision working on the projects

·        Health & Safety knowledge, ACOP, Health & Safety Act 2016 aware
