Junior Thai Massage Therapists Wanted.

Requirements 

The successful applicants must have one of the following requirements.

• At least 6 months of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

Job Descriptions

  • Perform massage treatments on soft body tissues such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments to support healing and recovery.

  • Apply a range of Thai massage techniques to improve sports performance and help prevent injuries.

  • Deliver treatments that promote relaxation, improve blood circulation, and reduce muscle tension.

  • Treat specific soft tissue issues and provide guidance to clients on ways to improve their physical condition.

  • Use additional massage methods, including hot stone therapy, Thai aromatherapy, and relaxing oil massage, to aid recovery.

  • Assess clients’ physical condition and medical history, and provide advice on appropriate stretching and relaxation techniques.

Other detail 

  • This is a full-time and permanent position

  • The wage is between $25 and $35 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, with weekly payments.

  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
  • You will be working in Auckland
  • You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week, with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
