Carpenter

YYY Kai tai Construction Management Limited is looking for 10 full-time Carpenters in the construction field to perform routine tasks to the company quality standards. 

Ideal candidates must have the followings:

• At least 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification.
• Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.
• Must be flexible to work early-morning and late-night shifts.
• Long-term and full commitments are required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the site manager or other senior managers as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (eg. fiberglass) according to measurements.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Install hardwood doors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation.
• Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines.
• Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met.
• Any other tasks that are reasonably requested by the employer from time to time.
