Cuddon has an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician to join their Marlborough team. This role involves servicing, maintenance and installation work across a range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Role description:

The HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician is responsible for servicing, fault-finding, maintaining and installing refrigeration and AC systems. The role includes on-site diagnostics, preventative maintenance, customer interaction and ensuring all work meets safety, regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing and maintaining refrigeration and AC systems

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

  • Completing installations where required

  • Ensuring compliance with HSE and regulatory standards

  • Providing professional on-site customer support

This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: 

  • Trade Certificate in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning

  • Electrical Service Technician Practising Licence

  • Refrigerant Handlers Licence

  • 5+ years NZ industry experience preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
