PB25 Tiling & Waterproofing Ltd is looking for 2 full- time permanent Assistant Tilers to join our company in Auckland Region, New Zealand
Job tasks and responsibilities:-
• Assisting with setting up the job sites, pre -checking
break, cleaning and preparing the surface.
• Load or unload, move tiles, materials, tools and
equipment & heavy lifting around the building site.
• Prepare and care for the construction tools, equipment
and machines.
• Erect and dismantle ladders, ensure safety on the job site
as well as not damaging the tiles.
• Assist tilers whenever necessary in cutting and shaping
tiles, removing old tiles, handling tiles to set in position,
grout and adhesive.
• Following instructions from management.
• Use equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe
manner.
• Clean job site once the work is done, assist in polishing if
needed, maintain work tools and machines daily after
daily work is done.
• Apply sealant to protect tiles from water damage under
the guidance of experienced tilers.
• Follow health and safety procedures strictly.
• Any other duties assigned.Candidate Requirements:-

• Be punctual
• Be Drug free
• Clean Criminal History
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.
Experience or Qualification:
• Experience or qualification is not mandatory. Full on the
job training will also be provided.
• As the role of Assistant Tiler requires using work vehicle
for travelling to multiple locations across Auckland
Region according to client requirements, Full NZ Class 1
Drivers License OR Equivalent Overseas Drivers License
with an ability to legally drive in NZ and obtain Class 1
License in New Zealand afterwards is required.
Hours and Position:-
• These are full time permanent positions with minimum
30 hours + per week.
Pay Rate:-
• $25 to $30 per hour
