Enhance Beauty and Brows Limited is seeking a Beauty Therapist to join our growing team in Rolleston, Canterbury. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused professional who is passionate about beauty therapy and client care.

Position Details

• Job Title: Beauty Therapist
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $24 – $30 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
• Business Hours: 7 days a week, 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Work Location: Rolleston, Canterbury

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Discussing client needs, analysing skin characteristics, and advising on suitable skincare treatments and make-up applications
• Applying general cosmetic and corrective make-up
• Performing manicures and pedicures, including decorative nail art, artificial nail applications, nail repair, and specialised hand and foot treatments
• Providing facial and body treatments such as massages
• Treating unwanted hair through waxing, bleaching, tinting, depilation, and electrolysis
• Evaluating beauty therapy processes and cosmetic products
• Managing client bookings, arranging appointments, and maintaining client records
• Providing advice to clients and selling cosmetic and beauty products

Skills and Experience Required

Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• NZQF Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy or a related field, or
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the beauty industry

Candidates should also demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy salon environment and must be available to work on weekends.
