Join Our Growing Team in Auckland!

We are a young, dynamic construction company based in Auckland, and we are looking for motivated and skilled Carpenters to join our team. We have multiple positions available with competitive pay and flexible hours.

Key responsibilities:

  • Study drawings and specifications to decide what materials to be used and relevant installation procedures

  • Study drawings and specifications to determine materials to be used and appropriate installation procedures.

  • Cut materials using tools such as chainsaws and assemble and nail cut and shaped parts using hand and power tools, including drills.

  • Repair existing wooden planks using chainsaws and electric planers.

  • Establish the framework of structures in accordance with building plans.

  • Erect frameworks and roof framing, lay floorboards, and check the level, plumb, and trueness of structures.

  • Fix fascia panels, sheath roofs, install ceiling battens, and fit exterior wall cladding as well as door and window frames.

  • Assemble prepared timber components to form structures and fittings ready for installation.

  • Cut and shape wood joints using tools such as chainsaws and other carpentry equipment.

  • Construct concrete formwork when required.

  • Work with a range of materials including plastic laminates, perspex, and metals as required.

  • Perform other duties reasonably required by the business owner or director.

Requirements: 

  • At least two years of relevant work experience, supported by appropriate evidence. (experience gained in the same industry will be considered as meeting the experience requirements) 

  • Relevant qualifications are preferred but not essential.

  • Physically fit and able to handle manual and physically demanding work.

  • Demonstrated high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

  • Job Salary : $29.00 – 32.00 

  • Full time:  30 - 50 hours per week

  • Working place: Auckland Region
