Site Foreman

Hutt City Painters Limited provides painting, renovation, and general construction services for residential and commercial projects across Wellington region.

We are currently seeking a Site Foreman to assist with the supervision and coordination of site operations to ensure construction and painting works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning and organizing painting and construction activities on site
• Supervising and coordinating painters and construction workers on projects
• Monitoring work progress and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards
• Liaising with project manager and subcontractors to coordinate site activities
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and site procedures
• Inspecting completed work and resolving quality or technical issues where required
• Assisting with estimating materials, labour requirements, and work schedules
• Monitoring the efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment on site
• Preparing basic progress reports and providing updates to management
• Providing guidance and support to workers to maintain productivity and workmanship standards

Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in construction management or site supervision; OR
• A relevant qualification such as Diploma or higher qualification in Construction, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Additional requirements:

• Clear criminal record
• Be able to work at weekend (in case emergency required)
