We are seeking an experienced and academically qualified Vocational Lecturer to deliver high-quality online vocational education programs integrating AI tools and industry practice.

The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, student engagement, and industry-relevant training aligned with New Zealand educational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver vocational-level lectures in areas such as:
    • AI applications in New Media Marketing
    • Early Childhood Education (theoretical and applied perspectives)
  • Develop and update course materials integrating AI technologies
  • Provide academic mentoring and student support
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure compliance with NZQA academic and quality assurance standards
  • Participate in program development and industry engagement activities

Minimum Requirements (Essential Criteria)

Applicants must meet all of the following:

  1. Master’s Degree (Level 9 NZQF or equivalent) or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g., Marketing, Management, Media, Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field).
  2. At least 8 years of professional experience in management, leadership, corporate training, or industry practice relevant to the ECE teaching field.
  3. Demonstrated international and New Zealand work experience, with understanding of cross-cultural professional environments.
  4. Strong digital literacy and ability to deliver courses online.

Preferred (Desirable) Criteria

  • Multilingual ability (English and Mandarin highly regarded)
  • Previous vocational or tertiary teaching experience
  • Experience working with international students
  • Knowledge of AI integration in business, media, or education contexts
