We are looking for a store manager to join our team at out Hamilton based Dairy Store. As a store manager, you will handle the store operations and play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceoptional shopping experience. You will be working independently and organise and control the store to ensure it is always in a presentable manner. 

Responsibilities:

  • ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
  • formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices of all products
  • promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
  • selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
  • maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • undertaking budgeting for the establishments
  • controlling selection, training and supervision of staff

 

What we are looking for:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the store timings from Monday to Sunday
  • 2 years relevant experience OR relevant qualification preferred. A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in any field will be considered relevant, and acceptable for this role
  • Communication skills and handling customers professionally
  • Great presentation and personal hygiene and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
