J&H ENTERPRISES LIMITED is an Auckland-based company known for delivering dependable and high-quality services. We are currently seeking multiple Drainlayers to join our team in the Auckland region. This role involves working across various sites throughout Auckland. The successful candidate must be willing to travel as required, with all travel and fuel costs covered by the employer.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

·        Interpret plans and specifications to determine job requirements and layout.

·         Prepare work sites and carry out excavation in accordance with project needs.

·        Install and position drainage pipes and related components as required.

·        Connect drainage systems to appropriate outlets in line with relevant standards.

·        Check and test completed work to ensure proper function and compliance.

·        Construct and install drainage structures such as pits and chambers.

·        Ensure correct positioning and alignment of pipelines.

·        Backfill and restore work areas following installation.

·        Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

·        Identify and repair faults or damage within drainage systems.

·        Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

·        Work collaboratively with team members and other trades on site.

·        Maintain accurate records and report progress or issues to management.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $30 to $40 per hour.

 

Other Requirements:

 

·        A minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.

·        Relevant Drainlayer Registration.

·        Availability to work weekends when required.

·        Willingness to travel across the Auckland region for work.

·        Physically fit to perform a variety of tasks.

·        Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

·        Ability to work safely and effectively under pressure.

·        Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
