Our company ,AWESOME KITCHENS LIMITED is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, and installing custom cabinets and furniture pieces. The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and the ability to create high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing products that meet client specifications.

●        Job type: Full-time Permanent

●        Number of positions for this job: up to 9

●        Pay rate: from $26- $35 per hour

●        Days required: 5-6 days/week

●        Hours per week: min 30, max 50 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and design specifications to construct custom cabinets and furniture.

• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery (saws, routers, drills, etc.) to cut, shape, and assemble materials.

• Woodworking & Material Selection:

• Select appropriate materials (wood, veneers, laminates) based on job requirements and client preferences.

• Perform precise measurements and ensure accuracy in all aspects of the construction process.

• Installation & Fitment:

• Install cabinets and furniture units in client homes or businesses, ensuring proper fitting, alignment, and finishing.

• Ensure that installations meet all safety standards and regulations.

• Finishing:

• Apply stains, paints, and varnishes to finished products.

• Perform sanding, polishing, and other finishing tasks to achieve a high-quality final product.

• Customer Service:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on cabinet styles, finishes, and designs.

• Ensure that all work is completed to customer satisfaction and in accordance with company standards.

• Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform repairs and modifications on existing cabinets and furniture as needed.

Job Requirement

•  At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

 •    A “can-do” attitude

•  Have an eye on details

•  Self-motivated

•  Clean non-criminal record
