We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of construction machinery including
excavators, loaders, and bulldozers.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in construction machinery including excavators, forklift s,tractors, loaders, and other diesel-powered equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and overhauls on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissionsystems, braking systems, and electrical components.
  • Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliabilityand safety.
  • Replace or repair damaged or worn mechanical parts and test machinery to ensure properoperation.
  • Maintain accurate service records and report on mechanical issues identifi ed.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with safety regulations and industrystandards.

Skills and Experience Required

  • At least 2 years‘ proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy diesel machinery,particularly in the construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals.
  • Relevant trade qualifi cation in diesel or heavy machinery mechanics preferred.
