Class 4 Truck Driver – Night Shift

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 4 Truck Driver to join our client’s team in Central Hawkes Bay. This role involves operating Class 4 trucks and silt dump trucks on night shift to support a range of civil and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Class 4 trucks, including silt dump trucks, on civil construction sites
• Transporting and supplying aggregate materials such as gravel, crushed stone, sand, and soil to construction sites
• Assisting with silt removal and disposal from construction and drainage works
• Supporting civil works, including roadworks, drainage, and infrastructure projects
• Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
• Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections and reporting any issues
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and site regulations
• Working closely with site supervisors and crew to ensure work is completed efficiently during night operations

About You

• Valid Class 4 New Zealand Driver Licence
• Previous experience operating tipper or dump trucks in civil construction is preferred
• Experience transporting aggregate materials or working on civil sites is an advantage
• Ability to work night shifts (available 2:00 pm – 6:00 am)
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and conviction check
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
