Waris Private Limited, known for providing vehicle washing and grooming services, focuses on maintaining clean and well-presented vehicles through efficient and reliable service. The business is currently seeking multiple Car Groomers to join the team in the Wellington region. The ideal candidate must be reliable and able to meet the operational demands of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash, clean, and detail vehicle exteriors and interiors using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
  • Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors including seats, carpets, dashboards, and panels using appropriate cleaning equipment where required.
  • Dry, polish, and apply protective treatments to vehicle surfaces to maintain appearance and cleanliness.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after cleaning to ensure required standards of cleanliness are achieved.
  • Safely use and maintain cleaning tools, machinery, and materials used for vehicle grooming.
  • Report any visible vehicle damage or issues to the supervisor when identified during the cleaning process.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area while following workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers if required.

 

You are required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 and $30 per hour.

 

Requirements for the role:

  • Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive a manual vehicle is an advantage.
  • Must hold a valid driving license to operate class 1 vehicles
  • Must be ready to work on rotational shifts
  • Available to work weekends and late evening shifts as required.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
