TMT Property Services Limited provides comprehensive interior lining and interior renovation services across Auckland. Our business covers a wide range of interior finishing works, including but not limited to flooring installation, carpet laying, tile installation, painting, and the installation of aluminium and timber doors. We work with residential and commercial clients to deliver practical, efficient, and high-quality interior solutions tailored to project needs.

Role Summary

Due to current business demands and the increasing need for accurate project planning and technical documentation, we urgently require one Draftperson to support our operations. This role is essential in preparing clear and buildable drawings for a variety of interior renovation and finishing projects, helping ensure smooth coordination between clients, project managers, and on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate technical drawings, layout plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for interior renovation and lining projects.

  • Produce drawings for flooring, carpet, tile, painting, and aluminium/timber door installation projects.

  • Interpret site measurements, client requirements, and design concepts, and convert them into practical working drawings.

  • Assist with design revisions and drawing updates in response to site conditions or client changes.

  • Support project planning, material quantity take-offs, and coordination with installers and contractors.

  • Liaise with site teams and other relevant parties to ensure drawings align with construction and installation requirements.

  • Prepare documentation that supports project delivery in accordance with relevant New Zealand building and construction practices.

Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following:

  • A relevant qualification in drafting, interior design, architectural technology, or a related field;
    or

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in drafting for construction, fit-out, or interior finishing projects.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other drafting software.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural or interior plans.

  • Good understanding of interior construction processes and finishing systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with site teams and clients.

  • Experience in interior renovation or finishing-related drafting will be an advantage.
