Pure NZ Gift Ltd is located in Queenstown, South Island. We sell top-quality New Zealand gifts, souvenir, and health products to tourist in Queenstown. We now need one Retail Manager to help us to provide top-quality service. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week, but normally you should have around 40 hours per week workloads.
The Job Tasks include:
· Monitor sales data and customer demand to determine appropriate product mix
· Place orders with suppliers and maintain appropriate stock levels in line with purchasing policies
· Monitor slow-moving and fast-selling items and report analysis to management
· Developing and implementing purchasing policies
· Degerming price adjustments based on sales performance and market trends
· Develop and implement promotional activities and in-store merchandising strategies
· Coordinate local advertising and social media updates
· Monitor effectiveness of promotions and provide feedback to Director
· Ensure customer service standards are maintained
· Sell goods and advise customers on product use
· Handle customer complaints within store policy guidelines
· Escalate significant issues to Director when required
· Maintain accurate stock records and daily sales reports
· Assist with budgeting preparation and expense monitoring
· Monitor daily cash handling and payment reconciliation
· Report financial performance to Director
· Supervise retail assistants during daily operations
· Conduct staff training and roster implementation
· Participate in recruitment process
· Ensure daily operations comply with health and safety regulations
Requirement for the role:
· At least level 5 Diploma in retail, and Bachelor Degree in any major can also meet the qualification requirement.
· At least two year relevant work experience can replace the qualificaiton requirement
· You should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
· You should be able to work during the weekend and sometimes at the evening because we open seven days a week and from 9AM to 10PM
