Hair Stylist

Our team provides friendly, professional service while staying up to date with contemporary styles, trends, and inspiration. We are currently looking for an experienced hair stylist to join our vibrant salon team.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Cutting, colouring, foiling, toning, and blow-drying 

• Colouring, straightening and waving 

• Shampooing, treatments, and service preparation

• Conducting consultations and providing personalised recommendations to the clients

• Supporting team members during busy periods

• Maintaining high standards of salon cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation

• Following all health and safety requirements and salon policies

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years’ experience in hairdressing

• A hairdressing qualification is not essential; however, a tertiary-level certificate in hairdressing is strongly preferred

• Confidence in cutting, colouring, foiling, toning, and styling

• Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct client consultations

• A professional, reliable, and well-presented approach

• A calm and positive attitude in a busy salon environment

• A desire to continue learning and growing in the industry

Why Join Us?

• Hourly rate: $27-$30 per hour (depending on experience)

• Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

• Operating hours: Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 8.30pm

• Location: Hamilton
