 LJ painters, is an emerging painting company providing services to organizations and individuals in auckland.

We are looking for two reliable and motivated  painters to join our team, working on a variety of residential and commercial painting projects. These are full-time, permanent positions based in  Auckland, offering a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week with the potential for overtime. The total hours, including any overtime, will not exceed 45 hours per week.

The pay rate ranges from $30 to $31 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities: 

Secure the work area by following Health and Safety regulations and in-house safety plans

Conduct safety checks before starting work to ensure the area is safe for workers and visitors

Safely use ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering

Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces

Selecting and preparing paints to the required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives

Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays

Cleaning equipment and work areas after finishing work

Help in loading and unloading painting equipment and paint materials when required

 Requirements:

Good understanding of painting tools, painting techniques and paint specifications

Good knowledge of Health and Safety and experience in using ladders

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
