Ski Roofing is a growing roofing company delivering high-quality residential and commercial roofing services across the Auckland region. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule. You will be required to work from Monday to Saturday with minimum of 30 hours to maximum of 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day roofing operations across multiple job sites
- Plan, schedule and coordinate roofing projects and workforce allocation
- Supervise staff performance and provide leadership to site teams
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor project progress to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
- Manage procurement of materials, tools, and equipment
- Handling and processing mail, filing correspondence and mailing records.
- Prepare documentation and presentations as required
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Control operational costs and assist with budgeting
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to the Director
- Implement systems and processes to improve productivity and efficiency
Job Requirements:
- Should have at least 2 years of work experience in management role or at least Level 5 or higher qualification in Management
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a good work ethic and reliability
- knowledge of health and safety regulations, including the proper use of safety equipment.
- Clean Character Background
- Zero Tolerance of Drug during work hours
Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $32 to $38 per hour.
