Wanted Meat Boner
Work Location: Auckland region
Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours minimum & 50 hours Maximum / per week)

To enhance our team, we are now looking for Meat Boners X 3 to join our team. This position play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of poultry processing at our company. We are expecting someone who has a passion for attention to details, ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.
You will need to have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field or industry OR have a relevant level 4 equivalent qualification/certificate or higher or have a bachelor degree.
Tasks Include:
· Expertly operate automated and manual switching controls to regulate the flow of carcasses from supply rails to specialized boning stations.
· Utilize restrainer and stunning equipment in strict accordance with animal welfare legislation and humane slaughtering practices.
· Execute precise incisions to sever jugular veins for efficient exsanguination and carcass dressing.
· Perform complex evisceration, slitting, and trimming of carcasses to prepare them for secondary processing.
· Anatomically separate muscle meat, fat, and connective tissue from bones with high precision to maximize yield and minimize waste.
· Deconstruct sides and quarters into industry-standard primal cuts—including rumps, flanks, and shoulders—utilizing professional-grade butchery equipment.
· Systematically remove internal fat, blood clots, bruises, and any foreign materials to ensure products meet stringent marketing and export specifications.
· Conduct thorough washing, scraping, and trimming to eliminate contaminants, ensuring all meat products are chemically and biologically safe for human consumption.
· Identify and isolate non-conforming products to maintain the integrity of the supply chain.
