We are currently looking for an experienced Painter to join our team in Auckland region to undertake a wide range of painting tasks, while providing a quality service to the highest degree to achieve customer satisfaction. Your working hours will be minimum of 30 hours to maximum of 45 hours from Monday to Sunday.

Key responsibilities are:

·        Carrying out daily tasks provided by the Team leader.

·        Carry our industry tasks as diligently, quickly, and effectively as possible.

·        Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires.

·        Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner.

·        Providing exceptional customer service.

·        Identifying health & safety risks on site and report them to the management

·        Ensuring all tools, equipment and work areas are kept clean, safe and properly maintained.

·        Measuring, cutting and applying materials such as masking tape, drop sheets, and protective coverings to protect surrounding surfaces

·         Inspecting completed work to ensure high-quality finishes and compliance with company and industry standards.

 

Job Requirements:

·        Minimum 2 Years of Industry Work experience or Level 4 or higher Diploma Qualification in any field of study

·        A natural ability to build rapport with customer and assist them

·        Good communication, interpersonal, and people management skills

·        A proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously.

·        Clean criminal record and Zero tolerance to drugs at workplace.

·        Be physically fit and healthy

·        Available to work that can include weekends and may include public holidays.

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 per hour to $36 per hour.
