We want to hire 3 full-time Carpenters now. This is a permanent role. You are expected to work between 30-60 hours per week( Monday-Saturday, depending on the seasons, and the maximum-hour is negotialble if you do not want to work for long hours).

Work location: Auckland

Your duties may include:

 

·      studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures

·      ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts

·      cutting materials, and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts

·      erecting framework and framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards

·      assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install

·      installing fixtures, fences, decks, gazebo,retaining walls and so on;

·      cutting wood joints;

·      may construct concrete formwork;

·      may repair existing fittings;

·      Conduct and lead any other landscaping/property maintenance jobs as instructed.


Job Requirements:

Two-year relevant work experience required( such as carpentry, landscaping, and any role fall onto broad construction industry)

OR

A relevant diploma( or above) in construction, landscaping, architecture, furniture making and any other relevant majors.

AND

Physically fit to life heavy stuff.
Be able to work outdoors in hot and cold seasons.

No criminal records

Strong commitment to safe work practices.


Licenses of Earthmoving Plant Operating will be an advantage but not compulsory.


This is a permanent job. We prefer stable, long-term staff and will provide ongoing training. You will earn more as your skill level improves.

Candidates must have work permits to work in NZ( eg. NZ citizens or residents)
