Field Manager

Veera Enterprises Limited is seeking two experienced Field Managers to join our kiwifruit contracting team in the Bay of Plenty. This is a hands-on management role overseeing orchard operations, staff, and quality control.

We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals with experience in agricultural supervision who are committed to maintaining high standards and helping our business grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations; maintain and record training materials.

• Communicate with farmers, growers, and staff to coordinate orchard operations.

• Develop and implement work plans in collaboration with management.

• Monitor quality control and ensure supervisors and workers meet required standards.

• Conduct site visits to ensure work meets both employer and grower expectations.

• Maintain accurate records of employee hours and on-site activities in compliance with legislation.

• Participate in management meetings to support business growth and orchard expansion.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a similar agricultural management role, or a Level 4 Certificate in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of orchard operations, seasonal workflows, and quality standards.

• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Hygiene requirements in agriculture.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and manage staff effectively.

• Physical fitness suitable for site visits and hands-on work when required.

• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.
