We are seeking an experienced Chief Investment Officer to lead the company's financial strategy, investment planning and capital management functions.

Position Summary

The Chief Investment Officer will be responsible for overseeing the organisation’s financial
and investment strategies, ensuring effective financial governance, and supporting the
company’s long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Investment Officer will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Developing and overseeing the organisation’s financial and budget management
frameworks, including planning, implementation and periodic review in collaboration with
senior management.
• Providing detailed financial analysis and strategic insights to senior management to support organisational performance, funding planning and financial decision-making.
• Leading the design, implementation and continuous improvement of financial management and accounting systems to ensure reliable financial reporting and strong internal controls.
• Supervising the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, including income
statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections and financial performance reviews.
• Analysing capital investment proposals and assessing the financial feasibility and risks of
business initiatives, operational projects, property development and investment projects.
• Advising senior management on investment opportunities, capital structures, funding
options and the allocation or reinvestment of profits.
• Preparing long-term financial projections, budgeting structures and financial planning
reports to support strategic development and sustainable growth.
• Ensuring organisational compliance with applicable financial legislation, accounting
standards and regulatory obligations.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment or a related
discipline; or
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, investment management, or financial
markets, including senior management experience; or
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, investment analysis, budgeting and capital management; and
• Proven experience advising senior management on investment strategy and financial
performance; and
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.
